Name: Benedict D. Mercer
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Age: 32
DOB: 8/21/1977
Height: 6’5
Weight: 210lbs

Symptoms: Memory loss, flashbacks, thought echo, depression, suicidal tendencies, hypersexuality, psychotic tendencies, and multiple alters.

Biography: Benedict grew up poor, barely able to eat and bathe at home. His father, a war-torn man, decided to raise the boy solely after the mother died upon giving birth. Throughout his childhood, Mercer suffered from heavy verbal abuse from his father. Unfortunately, school did not serve as a sanctuary. He was bullied, isolated from cliques, and overlooked by administrators. Soon, depression came into play, as he began feeling a deep loneliness. During his teen years, his father began sexually abusing him, which eventually lead Benedict to multiple suicide attempts.

Eventually, the courts seized Benedict due to the obvious abuse. He was sent into foster care, although his new parents . They reported feeling as if 'he could be two different people; both of them equally repulsive'. In an attempt to fume his frustration and escape his home, Benedict began committing juvenile crimes (vandalism, animal cruelty), and spent the rest of his youth in and out of jail.

When he hit 18, Ben ran from home and searched for a new life. His efforts amounted to nothing. Instead of finding success, the man used crime to make a meager living. Through the years, he survived by raping and pillaging whatever moved, whether male or female, no matter the age. After ten years on the run, the law finally captured and sentenced him to a life in prison. After four years in prison, Ben's insanity flourished. Fighting against other inmates wasn't uncommon. Eventually, however, he was given a second trial. With new evidence to support his insanity during his old crimes, the judge made a controversial decision to allow Ben to recover in a mental institute.

• Suffered from asthma as a child. Last asthma attack was at the age of 8.
• On multiple occasions, he's been admitted into a hospital for self-inflicted wounds.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient arrived in a violent personality, however, seemed rather calm. As the intake went on, patient revealed his sexual and violent nature. Patient was quickly incapacitated and changed into a different alter for the duration of the intake.

Patient was incredibly nervous throughout the session, but seemed aware of his condition and why he was here. In order to prevent another incident, the intake proceeded quickly as possible. Patient's anxiety was increasing, though no further incidents occurred.

Written by Azrael Boyka:

The patient was taken down after assaulting patient Ramsey Ramirez in the day room. He's been sedated and put in isolation until further notice. It is recommended that a therapist see him as soon as possible.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was met with in isolation, apparently in a personality that did not commit any crimes. Patient had no recollection of the incident with patient Ramsey Ramirez but had known he had done something wrong and was released to his room.

Patient feels helpless though appears to be willing to try therapy, at least with this alter. Names will be given to differentiate at a later date (the two alters that have been out thus far refer to themselves by the same name).

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient came in, believing therapy to be pointless due to the number of crimes committed. Over the course of the session, the patient appeared to believe more in the benefits of therapy.

When it seemed he had accepted the patient, patient switched personalities and attempted to sexually assault myself, but was quickly subdued.

Guard's Report:

The patient was attempting to harm patient Starling Lovell, although not in his usual sexual manner. After being taken down, he eventually became calm and was sent to his cell. Because of his consistently aggressive behavior, he is now on a 24/7 watch.
