Name: Cael Pearce
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Age: 17
DOB: April 13th, 1994
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 126 lbs

Symptoms: Suffers from auditory and visual hallucinations as well as panic attacks, depression, night terrors, and nyctophobia. Tends to be paranoid of new surroundings and unfamiliar people. Is known to be suicidal.

Biography: Born and raised in Brookville, Ohio; an only child. Patient was reclusive and kept to himself, as a child, and was sometimes punished by parents for what was called an overactive imagination. He was bullied aggressively starting in middle school and continuing into high school for this behavior as well as for his newly discovered homosexual feelings (which resulted in verbal and later physical abuse from his father).
Patient received support from a peer by the name of Dominic, towards whom the patient's affections were directed. When Dominic was hospitalized and sent into a comatose state by the same bullies, the patient's mental state began to deteriorate. He blamed himself for what had happened and began to obsess over his friend to a point where he hardly spoke to anyone or took part in any other activity. It was then he began to experience night terrors and hallucinations, usually of his comatose lover.
Patient began to become more hostile, especially towards his former bullies at school. It became so extreme that he had to be pulled out of school in his junior year -by recommendation of the school therapist- and was kept in the house at all times. By the further recommendation of the family doctor the patient was committed by his parents to Dry Times Mental Hospital where he reportedly attempted suicide multiple times (wrist cutting). Patient requested to be transferred to East Haven Mental Hospital when he discovered patient Synchron Jue had transferred there.

Medical History: Allergic to wheat, fish and cigarette smoke. Has eczema.

Has the patient been referred by a court ruling?: No (committed by parents)

Has the patient been previously diagnosed with any mental or health illnesses?: Yes
If so, what?: Paranoid Schizophrenia, Insomnia, Nyctophobia, and possibly Asperger’s syndrome.

Has the patient been known to harm them self or others (or both)?: Yes, harms others only after extreme provocation. Tends to harm self when overly anxious.

Privileged Patient?: No

Current Medications: Anti-Hallucinogens

Patient came in, and behaved rather well from what I had seen on his files. He seemed to react negatively when I asked him about what brought him here, so I decided that it would be best for another time, when he is more situated with the hospital. He seems to be very nervous, which is to be expected, and many scars were on his arms for past suicide attempts.

He didn't seem to be a threat, but I do advise that an orderly be with him for a little while, until he is comfortable.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was called in for a session and initially inquired about the medical tests he received during his intake. Patient was then questioned about his anxiety and was reluctant to answer, and began to hallucinate. After a few minutes, he snapped out, but was still reluctant to talk. The nature of the hallucination is unknown, though the patient began to cry.

Session to be continued at a later date.

NPC doctor's report:

Patient was brought in by Synchron Jue shortly after the incident in the cell hall with the fire alarm. Patient was having difficulty breathing and after administering some medication to open his airway he reported it was due to another patient smoking near him (patient is allergic to tobacco smoke). More medication was administered to offset the allergic reaction and patient was kept overnight for observation.

Patient appeared to attack outpatient Synchron Jue, though there were no serious injuries or damages. Patient attributed it to some sort of hallucination.

Written by Mason Conrad:

I called in the patient in order to discuss the recent incident involving outpatient Synchron Jue and himself. When questioned, the patient explained how Synchron had visited at the 'wrong time'. Earlier, his father visited which seemed to have generated a mix of negative emotions. During Synchron's visit, Cael believes that an apparition appeared (albeit these apparitions are hallucinations). Cael intended to 'save' Synchron from an attack by the apparition, but ended up putting himself in a position that seemed like he was attacking Synchron instead. After further discussion, we found that the appearance and nature of the apparitions depend on his emotions at the time. The hallucination that occurred during Synchron's visit seemed to display how he felt anxious (due to his father's visit) at the time (which is why the apparition was aggressive). Overall, the hallucination can be a 'mirror' of his own emotions (whether happy, sad, etc. Emotions don't necessarily have to be negative in order for the hallucination to appear).

The patient will be prescribed a daily anti-hallucinogen in order to promote his recovery.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was called up for a check-up session, mostly regarding his anti-hallucinogens. Patient mentioned that while the medication had been effective, he had previously experienced headaches, and had now been having trouble sleeping and eating.

In order to possibly combat the side effects, patient's medication dosage has been reduced for the time being. If hallucinations will turn, the original dosage will be returned or a different medication will be tried.

Guard's report:

Patient was out in the garden with fellow patients Cooper and Ellis. Ellis left but Cooper created a disturbance and attempted to attack Pearce. No damage was done physically and Cooper was taken away before being able to do any harm.
