Symptoms: She believes with certainty that she is a boy, no one else can convince her otherwise. She insists to use the male bathroom, she buys her clothes at stores that sell clothes for men and so forth. She also has a slight cutting problem.

Biography: As a small child she was often complimented for being "such a charming young man" so throughout the years she came to believe that she was actually a boy. This got her severe beatings from both girls and boys in her class and she was always alone in her classes. She grew up very independent so if she wanted something she had to get it. This was because her mother died when she was seven and since then she had been in many foster homes. She often got home with many bruises or self inflicted cuts that started because she seemed to think that illustrating with her blood was fascinating.

Medical History: She is allergic to bee stings and she is asthmatic. She is also insomniac.

Has the patient been referred by a court ruling?: No, she was forced into psychiatric care as a child by her parents. Ever since then she had been hopping from foster home to foster home until now.

Has the patient been previously diagnosed with any mental or health illnesses?: If so, what? She once blew up a car and was pronounced mentally unstable.
