Symptoms: (What makes you think that your character needs help?) Constant spacing out during any type of physical activities and/or conversation, mumbling to herself, drastic mood changes, episodes of severe depression, suicidal thoughts, and severe shaking and lethargy.

Biography: (Anything in your past that may be a factor in whatever mental illness you may have/Tell us about yourself!) Marlaina was born of an (anthro) bat father, and a feline mother. Her father was a cheater, and found himself in many affairs whilst married to her mother, Luna Sedniya. Her father, when he came home from work, would verbally abuse her and her mother, and even went as far as to beat his wife in front of Marlaina. Eventually, during a threat of seperation, her father took her mother into a room and murdered her without a second thought. Then he proceeded to drag Marlaina into the room and beat her until she was bruised and bloodied. She escaped one day, having found a friend who offered to take her in. That was when her friend, Lissa, realized her friend was not okay mentally. She often found herself standing next to Marlaina's door, where she would hear her friend knocking things from shelves, screaming obscenities, as well as suicidal threats to herself. Lissa told Marlaina that it would be best for her to seek help, and so she turned to the only place she knew of near enough to her -- East Haven Mental Hospital. (Hope this is acceptable, if not, contact me and I shall edit it with permission!)

Medical History: (Any health problems we should know about? Allergic reactions?) She is severely allergic to lemons and peanuts, as well as lactose intolerant. She has a very special medication that has been assigned to her, considering she is unable to eat meat or other sources of protein, as well as having severely lacking sight abilities. The medication is like a vitamin, providing nourishment as well as increasing her ability to see. She uses echolocation at times, as her sight (at best) is blurry and in a monochrome (black/grey and white) hue.

Has your character been referred by a court ruling?: (Is coming here their decision?) No. She has decided to come here, as she was urged/encouraged to by her friend.

Has your character been previously diagnosed with any mental or health illnesses?: Yes.
If so, what?: Bipolar syndrome and PTSD. Any others that may be present are currently unknown.

Has your character been known to harm them self or others (or both)?: She has not harmed herself or others, but she has gone through depression spells that cause her to become extremely unsafe around herself without supervision.

(Questions, comments, concerns, anything you think we need to know about your character IC and/or OOCly): I have taken the wings from her original design, though her ref will remain in her description for outside-of-hospital roleplays and the like. If you need to know more about her, please ask!
