Patient Record: Adalhard Krüger
Name: Adalhard Krüger
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Age: 17 years
DOB: 3/3/1995
Height: 5'9.7"
Weight: 130 lbs
Symptoms: Feels guilty for things he didn't do, Thoughts of death (and self-harm), Morbid preoccupation with worthlessness, Psychomotor retardation (significant slowness mentally and physically, causes him to rely on others), Hallucinatory experiences (sees/hears things not there)
Biography: When Adalhard was about ten years old, his father left him and his sick sister at home alone with his abusive mother to 'take care' of him. They were both barely fed, often eating a mixture of foods, or a stew, but Adalhard, not wanting to be beaten, ate it, sometimes sharing with his sister, who's bones were beginning to show. When he was about 15 and she was about 10, she told her mother she wanted something better for dinner while their mother was drunk, and was promptly beaten limp, while Adalhard cowered in the corner. The woman was soon taken into custody, and he was taken to an orphanage, where he grew up for a few years, until the caretaker and other children noticed something off about him. He talked to nobody, and would often hang limply in a chair or bed, ignoring his food, the people around him, and what was on TV. He would do this for minutes to hours, before suddenly screaming and crying, hitting himself harshly. He would sometimes curl into a fetal position or mutter to himself about how worthless he was and how he should have saved 'Amelia'. The orphanage owner finally decided to take him to the East Haven Hospital, both wanting to help and tired of him scaring the other people.
