Biography: - Patient was put into an orphanage at age 10 when his parents killed his younger brother and sister. Both are currently serving life in prison with no parole.

- Patient voluntarily entered because he was abusing his girlfriend but was unable to recall ever hitting her.

Patient was assaulted by Patient Thu Hazlitt when in garden. Patient appeared to be injured but ignored guards on scene. Presumably returned to his room without being looked at.

The patient hasn't had a session in months, so I decided to check up on him. I found that he hadn't progressed or regress on his own. We spoke about the possibility of his 'black outs' being a resolution for the conflicts he had with his parents. This topic lead off to what could happen if he visited his parents, but he claimed that he had already visited them many times before. Lorelei showed bitter feelings towards them for obvious reasons. We concluded that we could try to visit them again, and maybe I can see 'what's what.'

Patient was called in for a group therapy with 'Thu Hazlitt' and 'Ross Sharpe'. It has been decided that on the date 11/20/11, Lorelei and I would be visiting his parents. Due to the nature of the patient, however, he didn't converse as much as the other patients.

I took the patient to meet his parents, although both of them exhibited delusional behavior from the very start of the visit. When attempting to present them with reality, the two seemed to twist facts to match there own beliefs. They refuse to believe that they murdered their kin, and they refuse to see Lorelei as their third son (he is instead thought of as 'Luke', who happens to be the son they murdered). It is possible that helping the parents to see the truth could also help lead to Lorelei's recovery. Future visits are likely.

The patient and his parents met up at their old house in an attempt to 'spark' some memory from the parents. Although initial attempts failed, we finally went to a piano room (which is where Lorelei's sister died from the abuse). In order to get a satisfying reaction from the parents, Lorelei began playing the piano. The mother and father seemed to be distraught, albeit this emotional impact was aimed to have the parents recall the incident instead of bury it in pure denial. Due to their extreme reactions, however, the parents were escorted back to prison.

During a session with Lorelei's father, I found that he still couldn't identify Lorelei as his son. Despite this, the father seemed willing to cooperate and listened to our reasoning. Eventually, the father claimed he needed to 'think to himself' about this whole ordeal. We'll visit him again within the next few weeks.
