Patient Record: Gene Hughes Stratton
Name: Gene Hughes Stratton
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Age: 19
DOB: 3/7/1993
Height: 5'9
Weight: 128lbs
Symptoms:
• Melancholia
• Tremors
Biography:
Gene grew up under a rich family; his father a politician and his mother a lawyer. Even as a child, he remained distant from his father and peers; feeling too 'forced' when speaking with them and too 'looked down upon' by his father. Mrs. Stratton seemed to be the only person who the boy could comfortably converse with, which formed a close relationship between the two. During his later high school years, Gene's parents filed a divorce with one and another due to irreconcilable differences. At the time, the father was running for governor, and a divorce was bound to be publicized by news reporters. The wife eventually told the news reporters of her domestic life (albeit she made exaggerations) in order to spite her soon-to-be-ex-husband. In the midst of this all, Gene grew more anxious that he wouldn't be under the care of his mother. He hoped the best for his mother, and, honestly, he didn't care much for his father. The divorce, however, ended with despair when the mother disappeared during her lunch hour- never to be found again. Some have pointed their fingers at Mr. Stratton, but not enough evidence has confirmed his involvement. This devastated Gene, and eventually trapped him in a state of mental illness. Frustration built up, and the only way Gene could express his emotions without causing a scene was to discretely kill animals. Neighbors eventually found out about these practices, and recommended for Gene to be admitted into a psychiatric facility.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:
Patient was brought in, well behaved, though said almost nothing at all. Patient was nervously scanning the room, though would not explain why and kept to himself. Patient went through the search and medical tests without trouble.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:
Orderly reports indicate the patient has eaten almost nothing since his intake as well as has scarcely left his room at all. Patient wished to avoid the fact, but did mention that he feels isolated and scared because of his father, mentioning that 'they' do not believe him. When question if 'they' truly mattered, assuming they were his peers, he got very agitated, indicating that 'they' is likely a different entity. The talk ended shortly thereafter.
Patient also asked if cameras could record him and was nervous of having his voice recorded.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:
Patient is now leaving the room, though his anxiety doesn't seem to have subsided. Patient was still fearful of cameras and his father, though didn't mentioned these explicitly during the session, only indicated that he wished to remain silent to protect himself, presumably from his father.
Patient was then asked about activities he enjoyed instead in order to better break to ice, to which he answered that he liked to read and would like art supplies. Patient was given books on Greek History and some origami paper at his request.
