He was born of a human female and a father of his own type in a very isolated farm, his father was a proud and secretive man who was barely ever at home. His mother a drug-abusing prostitute who after giving birth to Teriano's younger brother and the subsequent abuse from her husband who left her days later, hung herself in the garden. Teriano had 2 older brothers, 2 older sisters and one younger brother, his family and elder siblings had always hidden their spite of him from his parents but he had always seen it, with his parents gone they no longer had to pretend and were quick to cut communication with the isolated family.
Teriano never attended school, went to hospital or attended church. He can read and write although poorly but is very well spoken. His family had little electricity where he lived and in fact very few commodities.
Teriano's eldest brother left the family the day after his mother died, he was more human than the rest and went to start a new life and is believed to have started a family in the north of the continent but what became of him is unknown. The second eldest disappeared during the night and journeyed to the city where he became involved in gangs quickly and was killed. His eldest sister went to the city too to join the same profession as her mother and his other sister went to live with some of the rest of the family. Terianos younger brother was adopted into the wider family and Teriano himself stayed to work what he could of the family farm alone but after years of struggling to feed himself he abandoned it and went to the city, at this time he was in his early 30s.

He roamed in the countryside and the city, wherever he could find work, he was strong and soon found promise as a cage fighter. He worked as a cage fighter in various venues for most of his life (under the name "The Freak") and was very successful at it though he did not have the same blood thirsty drive as his human opponents.
Outside the cage he had and has never been anything other than gentle and very kind but it is his kindness that got him in trouble so often as he tried to offer friendship to all sorts including prostitutes, slaves and thieves, but he never judged them. He never fought or showed violence outside the cage.

After a fight one night he was speaking to a young woman, a prostitute, but he was talking to the wrong person and when her pimp began pushing her around Teriano grabbed him and snapped at him but he picked a fight with the wrong guy and soon found himself surrounded by big guys, a few of which he knew as opponents from the cage fighting. After fighting them all into defeat he grabbed the pimp but was interrupted by cops who had seen the whole thing. Fleeing he lost the cops but he was stopped by a gang in a back alley and beaten half to death, he was eventually found and arrested by the cops. He was sent first to hospital, somewhere he had never been and when forced to remain there tried to fight his way out, strangling a nurse who tried to take his blood and injuring several medical and security staff as well as cops, he added to his charges, assault on an officer.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was brought in and was extremely nervous and did not say a word the session, perhaps to later experiment with what doctors would be best suited to him. The cause of his silence is mostly unknown, however. Patient did eventually speak up when the strip search and medical test.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was called in for a session. Patient was much more cooperative than the intake though still appeared skeptical of most statements. It became clear that the patient was not sure where he was and was informed he was in a hospital. It is also possible that patient is not aware of many other things in society, given his upbringing.

Patient seemed to believe he could not be helped and became silent near the session's end. It is uncertain if this was due to myself or the patient's own social tendencies.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:

Patient was called in once more, showing more signs of worthlessness and depression. Patient was informed of the possible process on eventually being able to leave the asylum.

Patient then asked to leave. Sessions will be done in short bursts in order to prevent further agitation.

Session 4, July 24, 2012 8:16 PM FST

Post  Araceli on Tue Jul 24, 2012 11:29 pm

location: Therapy Room One

Patient came in appearing shy, not really speaking until asked about the hospital. Usual behavior?

Patient seemed a bit uninterested in the activities provided within the hospital. Could Dr. Morganti bring something in for him to keep better occupied?

Patient looked and sounded a bit weary, if not tired. How are his sleep patterns?

Patient seemed to open up to Araceli once they got talking. Almost comfortable with being with her minus the fact he was a bit weary of her taking notes. Curious if anything

After a while, Patient began to be a bit standoffish. Maybe their session was beginning to be a bit long? However patience is something the patient should learn over time.

Patient claims he doesn't know how to read or write.

Patient claims he could barely see her face due to eyesight rapidly diminishing. any diagnosis or reasoning behind this?

roleplay unfinished
