Biography: Her Mother kept her believing she was five, by reinforcing it by toys, language, environment, and behavior. Her mother passed away when she was 16 and put into the foster system. Countless tries by counselors and foster parents to try to convince her she was her real age failed. At 18 she is no longer the state's responsibly but the court suggested she be put in a hospital so that maybe she may live a normal life after treatment.
Medical History: Has had the chicken pox.

If so, Why?: She agreed after she was promised a family after treatment.

Has the patient been previously diagnosed with any mental or health illnesses?: No

Notes: She carries a blonde haired doll named Lucy around. She must have her with her at all times.

Dr. Kayoko Saito:
As the report says, she believes she is a five year old girl. She is very sensitive about the notion and doesn't doubt it as all as well as her outward behavior is incredibly child like. Otherwise, she was very compliant with staff and doesn't appear to have any other issues. Likely has some sort of Delusional Disorder.

Given her upbringing, please do not engage in any type of play therapy with her at this time as to not reinforce her delusions.

Dr. Kayoto Saito:
Patient is still obsessed with the notion that she is five. A logical approach did not work, though this has likely already been tried before with other counselors. Future sessions planned are to perhaps make her look forward to adulthood and take away her anxiety about being older than she actually is.
